It was a great opportunity to be able to visit The United Nations and partake in an Economic and Social Council meeting. The United Nations is an intergovernmental organization whose stated purposes are to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation, and be a center for harmonizing the actions of nation -  Omolarami Ayodeji - Akindiji The main bodies of the United Nations are the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, the International Court of Justice, and the UN Secretariat. All were established under the UN Charter when the Organization was founded in 1945. It was a pleasure to come to CHQ and weigh in on Christians in politics. Key decisions are being made by those who show up and as Christians its so important that we show up and show out, in order for good principles, values and ideologies to be at the heart of government.
